United Love is this Saturday!

United Love is this Saturday and we are PUMPED about it! We hope you will plan to join us in serving the 3 communities where we meet: Newington/Portsmouth, Dover, and Portland. If you want one of the United Love shirts, they are running out fast and the supply is limited. They are just $5 each and you can get one by calling the Central Offices at 603.749.4005 or emailing unitedlove@nlc.tv. Here are the details on the 3 projects - please call or email us to sign up:

Portsmouth: The Chase Home for Children - 9am start time - Cleaning, painting, and other "remodel" type projects.
Dover: Seymour Osman Community Center - 8am start time - Lots of painting and a little cleaning.
Portland: Preble Street - Noon start time - Neighborhood cleanup.

Hey NLCers! This is the last week of the matching challenge for 320! Every dollar we raise will be doubled so this a huge opportunity for you to take a couple hours to clean out your attic or basement and make a huge difference in the launch of Next Level Portland!

If you are planning to hold a yardsale, please message us back so we can send out a list later this week. Maybe you don't feel like you have a lot to sell, but if you have room to host the yard sale, we can send out this list and people who live nearby can bring their items to your sale on Saturday and help you run the sale! Many people have items to sell but nowhere to hold the sale itself, so if you have room, please let us know ASAP!

We know many people have already sacrificed a lot toward this campaign, but a couple hours of time and your used stuff from every person will make a huge difference in the last push towards our matching challenge!

Yard sale update

We have an awesome opportunity this month to really step up in our efforts for the 320 Challenge and one way we are doing that is by organizing tons of yard sales all over the Seacoast. We are asking anyone who can to host a yard sale on the last weekend of August in their neighborhood, with the proceeds going to the 320 Challenge. THIS MONEY WILL BE MATCHED DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR UP TO $25,000, so don't be afraid to get creative and invite anyone else you know to join the yard sale. If you will be hosting a sale, please email yardsale@nlc.tv with the location and time, so we can help you promote the sale through facebook, twitter, classifieds, and more!

We recognize that it can be very hard to connect with others at the Regal on Sundays because we are always rushed to pack things up, so we are working on some awesome ways to connect with others at NLC, like the cookout coming up on August 22nd! But beyond, the best way to build long term relationships with God and others is through Life Groups. Our fall semester of Life Groups is launching soon. If you are interested in leading a group, email groups@nlc.tv and tell us you want to know more about leading!

Next Level is growing like crazy, and after constantly being asked why we don't have an adminitrative assistant yet, we have decided that it is time to look for one! We have grown so quickly that the sheer volume of phone calls, mailers, and other office projects is overwhelming the current staff, so we are ready to add an administrative assistant.

If you have great office skills, a friendly personality, love NLC, and most of all, are crazy about Jesus, you might be the person we are looking for! This position is likely to be part-time at first, but could quickly grow into full-time as NLC continues to explode this fall.
