Life Groups

At NLC, we believe that joining a Life Group is one of the best choices you can make. Why? Because we recognize that relationships are the conduit for life. Without real, meaningful relationships, life is unfulfilling and dull - but with them, life is more diverse, full, and beautiful.  Life Groups are not just something "we do" but rather "who we are".  Life Groups are not only the tool we use to build meaningful relationships, but also to disciple and encourage each other on this journey called life.

NLC offers 3 different types of Life Groups to fit your schedule and interests. Study groups are focused around learning more about following Jesus. They focus on a specific section of the Bible or on finding out what the Bible says about a given topic, although they also include elements of food, fun, and friendship. Interest groups are based around common interests (obviously) which can include anything from books to basketball to barbecue to board games. The goal here is to build relationships within a comfortable context by giving everyone a familiar, common starting point around which they can gather. Service groups are all about giving back to others. These groups take people with similar passions and desires to serve and joins them together to get to know each other better and meet needs in the local community through involvement with soup kitchens, nursing homes, and work projects, among many other things.
